Just to pique your excitement, here are some photos clipped from our HD Video shot on the wreck during our Expedition dives this past Sunday, September 13, 2009.  We will work to get a dive report up as soon as possible.  Enjoy.

Some specifics - Photo 1, Top row left - you are looking almost due south.  Diver in picture  hovering over port side is Martin.  Dive was 410' max depth with 20 minutes total bottom time from 70' back to first deep stop of 300'.  Took 12 minutes to scooter out to site from 70 feet and we spent 7 minutes on the Tahoe filming and exited the water 3 hours 15 minutes after we descended into a lake state of Small Craft Warning!  It was an interesting exit and return to the Cave Rock boat ramp.

Photo 2, Top row middle - Foc'sle (Forecastle) bow area of SS Tahoe, storage when she operated for mail and freight.  Presently there is a huge anchor resting in this area.

Photo 3, Top row right -   Martin examining the destruction of the fore superstructure, starboard side roof over boiler room can be seen in lower left foreground, 380 feet.

Photo 4, Bottom row left - This is the cavity left by the destruction of the fore superstructure during sinking.  Note only the port side wall remains standing and you can see a door, two window openings and ornate woodworking detail.

Photo 5, Bottom middle - The base of the smoke stack and equipment area on the roof of the midships superstructure which is part of the steel hull so it survived the sinking.  There are many pieces of equipment in this area yet to be identified.

Photo 6, Bottom right - This is the roof area on the port side just behind what was once the foreward superstructure.  In the middle of the shot foreground you can see the wall from photo 4 and in the upper left corner of the shot you can see the chimney from the galley below.
